Job Description
Seeking CRC Vocational Case Manager in Anchorage with previous Vocational Rehabilitation experience for Worker’s Compensation. Must possess current AWCB certification in order to receive referrals for vocational cases. Complete Reemployment Benefits Eligibility Evaluations based on current Alaska Workers Compensation Division rules for timely resolution of cases. Interview clients and employers; assess transferable work skills and Labor Market to determine client ability to work. Will complete SCODRDOT Job Analyses, may perform Ergonomic Evaluations on site with employees/employers to assess factors that may interfere with work, and determine appropriate use of tools, equipment, work methods, etc. If no transferable skills are identified, may also research, complete, and implement Reemployment Benefits Training Plans to ensure a positive outcome Work closely and communicate efficiently with Rehabilitation Benefits Administration, Insurance Claims, Medical, Employer and other Personnel.

Seeking caring, intelligent and independent WC Nurse Case Managers with experience to add to our team in the Northwest; focus is to provide services to assist injured workers with RTW as soon as possible by managing medical care thru all stages of treatment; developing effective Care Plans with the goal of preventing disability and assisting a return to gainful employment. Must be organized, and an excellent/efficient communicator with all members of the team in a WC case; possess State Licensure. Prefer prior Orthopedic, Occupational Health and proven effectiveness as a Nurse Case Manager, with 3+ yrs of experience and National Certification.

Work closely and communicate efficiently with Insurance Claims, Medical, Employer and other Personnel. May complete Job Analyses and Ergonomic Evaluations on site with employers to determine essential job functions and appropriate use of tools, equipment, work methods, etc. Current CRC, CDMS, Oregon VR Certification, as well as previous Vocational Rehabilitation experience preferred.
To provide cost-effective, quality case management services to individuals receiving disability compensation with the goal of a quick and successful return to work or optimum level of functioning.
